Leonard Omariba, popularly known as Bazenga, is a businessman and humanitarian seeking to represent Kitutu Chache North in the 2027 General Election. He is seeking the Jubilee Party nomination.

In a September 2026 interview, Omariba described education, economic empowerment and infrastructure as his three main priorities. He said he wants leadership that listens to residents and turns their concerns into practical action.

In the same interview, Omariba emphasised consultation, transparency, accountability and measurable results. He said residents should help identify development priorities and track projects.

“My message is simple. Kitutu Chache North needs leadership that listens, serves and delivers. I am offering myself to serve the people, not simply to hold an office.” — Leonard Omariba, speaking to TUKO.
